Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Naresh Kumar, has stated that the cancellation report filed by the police in the present case has since been accepted by the concerned Magistrate at Pathankot on 15.3.2021.

It being so, the instant petition filed by the petitioner - accused Sahil Sharma, for quashing of the FIR in question, alongwith ancillary proceedings, has become infructuous and is dismissed accordingly.
