At the outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that she will be contended and satisfied if inquiry is completed within six months. However, State counsel, on instructions from Mr. Devender Singh, DSP, Vigilance Bureau, Punjab, who is present in Court, submits that at least 10 months' time be granted to conclude the inquiry. The present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 to conclude the inquiry within 8 months from today and its outcome be conveyed to the petitioner forthwith.
