Present:
Mr. Shashi Kant Gupta, Advocate for the appellants. Mr. Vinod Gupta, Advocate for the Insurance Company. ***** As agreed, as per statements of learned counsel for the appellants, learned counsel and representative of the respondent-Insurance Company (separately recorded), a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (One lakh only) over and above the amount awarded by the Tribunal is allowed to the appellants in full and final settlement of the claim in this appeal. During Lok Adalat, while arriving at a settlement, the interest of all the parties especially the minors is paramount. Accordingly, we dispose of this case with a direction to the Insurance Company to deposit a crossed-cheque for Rs.30,000/- in the name of appellant No.1-Lalita Devi, a crossed-cheque for Rs.25,000/- in the name of appellant No.2-Monika, a crossed-cheque for Rs.
25,000/- in the name of appellant No.3-Yash Kumar and a crossed-cheque for Rs.20,000/- in the name of appellant No.4-Umrawati, with the office of Lok Adalat of the High Court within a period of two months in compliance of this order, failing which, interest @ 9% per annum shall follow on this amount from the date of this order till payment.

FAO-5265-2016 (O&M) -2The concerned Officer of the Lok Adalat Branch/Office shall issue proper receipt after receiving the cheques to learned counsel/representative of the respondent-Insurance Company. The appellant(s)' counsel/appellant(s) may collect the cheques from the office of the Lok Adalat.
Copy of the order be supplied/sent to the counsel/parties and file be returned to the Hon'ble High Court.
