SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Section 528 of BNSS for seeking quashing of kalandra under Section 172 of BNSS at P.S Gandhinagar, District Yamunagar registered vide DD No.130 dated 06.05.2025 qua the petitioner and further proceedings arising therefrom with further direction to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to conduct proper and fair and thorough investigation. Learned counsel for the petitioners confines his prayer to the extent that a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 30.06.2025 (Annexure P.3) within a time bound manner. Without adverting to the merits of the case and in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioners, respondent No.2-Sr. Superintendent of Police, Yamunagar is directed to look into the representation dated 30.06.

2025 (Annexure P.3) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The order so passed in the said representation shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of one week thereafter. In case, representation is not received in the office of respondent No.2, this petition be treated as representation. The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
