The petitioner seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 and 2 to decide representation dated 27.9.2022 (Annexure P-12) and to remove the pay anomaly in the fixation of basic pay of the petitioner so as to bring the same at par with respondent No.3. 2.
A perusal of order dated 28.04.2023 (Annexure P-13) passed by respondent No.2 - Additional Director General of Police, Technical Services, Punjab, Chandigarh, would indicate that case of the petitioner as regards fixation of pay as per the revised dates can be considered only after he submits a self declaration/undertaking in this regard and that too provided he submits his representation as it has been specifically recorded therein that the officials have not submitted the representation.

Having regard to the aforestated position, wherein respondent No.2 - Additional Director General of Police, Technical Services, Punjab, Chandigarh vide order dated 28.04.2023 (Annexure P-13) has expressed that the case of petitioner shall be considered for refixation of his pay as per revised dates, the instant petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed representation before respondent No.2 - Additional Director General of Police, Technical Services, Punjab, Chandigarh delineating all the relevant facts within a period of 15 days from today in addition to already submitted representation dated 27.9.2022 (Annexure P-12). 4.
In case any such representation is filed, respondent No.2 - Additional Director General of Police, Technical Services, Punjab, Chandigarh shall dispose of the same expeditiously preferably within a period of 4 months from filing of such representation.
