Mr. Lalit Garg, Advocate, for respondent No.2. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through instant appeal, appellants-claimants have sought enhancement of compensation granted to them by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Rewari (in short the 'Tribunal), vide Award dated 31.05.2014.
Learned counsel for respondent No.2 - Insurance Company submits that adequate compensation, rather on higher side, has already been awarded to the appellants by the Tribunal in view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in National Insurance Company Limited v. Pranay Sethi and others, 2017(4) R.C.R.(Civil) 1009. Therefore, there is no scope of enhancement of compensation.
Learned counsel for the appellants has not been able to refute above submissions. Therefore, instant appeal being meritless is dismissed. (Ramendra Jain) Judge August 30, 2019 R.S.
