The present revision petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a direction to the Executing Court to decide the Execution Petition No.EXE-273/20 titled 'Dr. Ishwar Dass Gupta vs. State of Haryana and Others' expeditiously. 2.

The dashboard of the District Courts, Bhiwani, available on the website of National Judicial Data Grid, reveals that there are 4415 execution applications pending including 673 executions of 3 to 5 years old and 188 of 5 to 10 years old.

Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case titled as High Court Bar Association, Allahabad Vs. State of U.P. & Ors. [2024 (2) RCR (Civil) 199] has held in para No.37(c) as under :

"37(c) Constitutional Courts, in the ordinary course, should refrain from fixing a time-bound schedule for the disposal of cases pending before any other Courts. No exceptional circumstances have been shown to this Court for issuance of directions to the Executing Court to decide the Execution Application in a time bound manner. The present revision petition is accordingly dismissed. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
