Learned State counsel at the outset submits that this Court vide judgment dated 07.03.2025 passed in a bunch of petitions including "Sucha Singh and Ors. Vs. State of Punjab and Ors." in CWP-235732013 has adjudicated the issue involved herein, thus, issue involved is no more res integra.

Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that five LPAs against aforesaid judgment including LPA-1465-2025 have been filed which are still pending.

Learned State counsel on being asked concedes that claim of petitioners would be reconsidered in the light of judgment passed in afore-stated LPAs.
