JUSTICE GURVINDER SINGH GILL Present:- Mr. Suneet Kumar, Advocate for the petitioner. ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of a direction for entrustment of the investigation pertaining to FIR No.0044 dated 7.6.2019 registered at Police Station Darersi, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana under Sections 354-D, 506, 341 and 509 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 43, 66(D) and 67 of Information Technology Act, 2000 to crime branch or to cyber police station or to some other independent agency.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without making any expression on merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana to look into the matter and to decide the representation dated 3.7.2019 (Annexure P-2) (although addressed to DGP, Police, Punjab Police Headquarters, Chandigarh), moved by petitioner, expeditiously in accordance with law and to ensure that the matter is got investigated expeditiously and a final report is filed at the earliest. ( 2 ) CRM-M-37462-2019 (O&M) Since, it is a case where certain offences under Sections 43, 66(D) and 67 of Information Technology Act, 2000 have also been alleged to have been committed, needful shall be done for getting the said allegations examined from Cyber Crime Cell or any other officer having experience/expertise in cyber crimes, as such experience/expertise would be helpful to reach at the truth.
