***** JASPAL SINGH, J Through instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to grant the deemed date of regularization to the petitioner to the post of Helper Grade-I w.e.f 05.09.1991 the date when juniors were granted the benefit and release the arrears thereof together with interest @ 18% per annum.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied, in case, direction is issued to respondents to consider legal notice dated 19.12.2017 (Annexure P-6), within some prescribed period.
