This petition is filed for seeking a direction to the respondents to act as per the "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Scheme". The said scheme is basically a programme to decrease the Child Sex Ratio (CSR) through a mass campaign across the country and focussed intervention and multi-sectoral action in 100 gender critical districts. The main objective of the scheme is to celebrate the girl child and enable her education by preventing gender bias and by ensuring education and participation of the girl child. Counsel for the petitioner has failed to highlight as to how the "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Scheme" is not being implemented by the Government in the given facts and circumstances of the present case. Consequently, I do not find any reason to interfere in this petition and hence, the same is hereby dismissed.
