This petition has been filed under Section 528 BNSS, 2023 for issuance of directions to the official respondents No. 1 to 3 to conduct fair, impartial investigation, decide the representation dated 05.07.2025 filed by the petitioner and protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners have preferred a representation/complaint dated 05.07.2025 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala to look into his representation/complaint and take appropriate steps at the earliest.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioners, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala to consider and decide the representation/complaint dated 05.07.2025 (Annexure P-1) of the petitioners in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
