On 11.10.2018 following order was passed in this case:- "The appellant is the mother of a girl child, namely, Charu, who was born on 4.1.2001. She has prayed for her custody under the Gurdians and Wards Act, 1890 which has been declined by the learned trial Court. This Court had earlier tried to intervene by way of mediation and the girl in question had refused to go with her mother even when she was at the age of 15 years. Since, the girl in question is going to attain majority on 4.1.2019, therefore, learned counsel for the appellant prays for an adjournment somewhere towards the end of January, 2019.

On his request, adjourned to 28.01.2019. "

Mr. Aurora has today informed the court that girl child namely Charu has since attained the majority, thus, no cause of action survives in this appeal. Besides, appellant remains unrepresented. Similar was the situation on the last date of hearing. The appeal may have been rendered infructuous.
