1. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking regularization.

2. Learned counsel submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, the State has come out with a policy to regularize employees by placing them in a special cadre for which the petitioner submits that he is governed by the said policy and would submit his applications to the concerned authority for regularization under the said policy.

3. Learned counsel submits that in view of the said policy, he does not press the present writ petition, but prays that the respondents be directed to decide his application and consider him for regularization in terms of the said policy.

4. Learned counsel for the State/respondents submits that the policy has been issued and if the petitioner falls within the said policy, his candidature shall be considered.

5. Having noticed the conditions, this Court disposes of this writ petition as not pressed, with direction to the respondents to decide the application of the petitioner strictly in terms of the policy, and if the petitioner comes within the four corners of the said regularization policy, appropriate orders be passed at the earliest, within a period of two months.

6. Writ petition stands disposed of.
