(ORAL) After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition, at this stage while submitting that the petitioner would contest the application moved by respondents No.2 to 5-accused before the Court below, for seeking the relief of anticipatory bail.

Mr. Kunwarbir Singh, learned AAG, Punjab, who has appeared on behalf of respondent No.1-State in this case in pursuance of the copy of the present petition having been sent to this respondent in advance, has no objection for the same.

Resultantly, the petition in hand stands dismissed for having been withdrawn accordingly.
