1. Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 482 of the B.N.S.S., 2023, the petitioner seeks the concession of anticipatory bail, in case FIR No.65 dated 09.07.2024, under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 351(2), 191(3), 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (Section 117(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 added subsequently), registered at P.S. Kiratpur Sahib, District Rupnagar.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, it is a case of version and cross-version, inasmuch as, the petitioner also suffered injuries at the hands of the complainant party, whereupon, a cross case bearing G.D. No.30 dated

 09.07.2024, under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, has been registered against the complainant party, on the basis of petitioner's statement.

The learned counsel for the petitioner also draws attention of this Court towards Annexures P-4 and P-5, to submit that, thereby the petitioner's co-accused have already been granted the concession of anticipatory bail by the learned Additional Sessions Judge concerned. He also draws attention of this Court towards Annexure P-6, to submit that, thereby even the complainant party, who are accused in the G.D. (supra), have also been granted the concession of anticipatory bail by the learned Additional Sessions Judge concerned.

4. Notice of motion for 12.09.2024.

5. Mr. Pardeep Bajaj, D.A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State of Punjab.

6. In the meantime, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation and to appear before the investigating agency, as and when called upon to do so. In the event of his arrest, he shall be admitted to interim bail on his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 482 of the B.N.S.S., 2023.6
