The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying for issuance of direction to the official respondents to conclude the investigation in case FIR No.90 dated 04.12.2022, registered under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Amir Khas, District Fazilka and for issuance of directions to the official respondents to present final report/challan in the aforesaid FIR.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Sandeep, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that the police have completed the investigation and the challan is ready for being presented before the Magistrate concerned. The same shall be presented before the Magistrate within three weeks from today.
