This petition has been filed by an aspirant for admission to MBBS course and the controversy relates to the marks obtained in NEET-UG-2024. 2.

Learned counsel for petitioner has drawn attention of this Court to Annexures P-7, P-8 and P-9, which show that there was change in the total marks obtained by the petitioner from 592 to 593 and thereafter to 235, thereby altering the NEET "All India rank" of the petitioner from 85621, then to 77695 and thereafter to 826825.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2-NTA has filed a counter affidavit on behalf of respondent No.2 inter-alia revealing that the petitioner had infact after the direction of the Apex Court obtained 235 marks (Annexure P-9) and the remaining documents i.e. Annexures P-7 & P-8 do not reflect the correct picture. He has also made certain allegations of Annexures P-7 & P-8 to be fake documents but this Court would need not to enter into the said controversy.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, who has verified the contents of the counter affidavit which include OMR sheet filled in by the petitioner and also the final answer key as well as the attendance sheet, does not dispute that Annexure P-9 showing the total marks obtained by the petitioner to be 235 and the All India ranking as 826825 to be correct. 5.

In view of above, this Court without entering into controversy as to whether the mark-sheets are fake or not especially Annexures P-7 and P-8, disposes of this petition with the observation that the correct mark-sheet of the petitioner is Annexure P-9 showing her marks as 235 and the All India ranking as 826825. Accordingly, no cause to interfere is made out and the petition stands disposed of.
