Mr. Anil Kumar, Advocate for respondent Nos.2 & 3. HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.81 dated 27.04.2021 under Sections 323,324,34 IPC (Section 326 IPC added vide order dated 09.12.2021) registered at Police Station Civil Lines Batala, District Batala and all other consequential proceedings arising out of the said FIR, as the matter stands amicably settled in terms of compromise deed (P.2).

Vide order dated 18.11.2021, the parties were directed to appear before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate on 29.11.2021 for getting their statements recorded with regard to the compromise and the learned Magistrate was directed to send a report about the genuineness and veracity of the compromise.

A report dated 20.01.2022 of learned JMIC, Batala has been received. As per the report, the parties had appeared before learned Magistrate and got recorded their statements regarding compromise. Learned Magistrate has stated that he is of the considered view that the compromise between the parties is valid, genuine, voluntary and without MANOJ KUMAR 2022.03.17 19:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Accordingly, the present petition is allowed. FIR No.81 dated 27.04.2021 under Sections 323,324,34 IPC (Section 326 IPC added vide order dated 09.12.2021) registered at Police Station Civil Lines Batala, District Batala along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are hereby quashed qua the petitioners.
