The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for quashing the impugned advertisement dated 01.02.2023 (Annexure P-9) whereby applications were called for filling up the posts of Deputy Director in the Directorate of MSME on deputation basis and further prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioners for promotion to the post of Deputy Director (Industrial Promotion).

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that in the present case, one of the prayers is for quashing the impugned advertisement dated 01.02.2023 (Annexure P-9) but the same has now been withdrawn and, therefore, so far as the present prayer is concerned, petition may be disposed of as the same has become infructuous. The second prayer in the present petition for directing the respondents to consider the petitioners for promotion to the post of Deputy DINESH KUMAR 2024.09.27 14:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document at the bottom of left side

CWP-18531-2023 Director (Industrial Promotion) is concerned, learned State counsel while referring the short reply, submitted by way of an affidavit, has submitted that the case of the petitioners is under consideration and the same will be finalised, as per the merit.
