Prayer in the present Criminal Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of direction to the official respondents No.1 to 3 to take strict legal action against the accused in FIR No.201 dated 02.07.2024, under Section 10 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Sections 363, 354(a), 366-A IPC, registered at Police Station Kalawali, District Sirsa.

Learned State counsel submits that the main accused namely Deepak @ Kaku s/o Tarsem has already been arrested on 03.08.2024 and he further assures that appropriate action, as per law, would be taken against the remaining accused mentioned in the FIR.

In view of the above, the present Criminal Writ Petition stands disposed of with directions to the official respondent No.3-Superintendent of Police, Dabwali, to decide the representation (Annexure P-3) within a period of 15 days from today.
