The present petition has been filed under Section 482 BNSS, 2023, for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.54, dated 17.04.2025, under Sections 318(4), 336(2), 338, 336(3), 340(1), 340(2), 316(2), 61(2) BNS, registered at Police Station City-2, Mansa, District Mansa. 2.
On 01.08.2025, the Coordinate Bench had passed the following order:- "Status report by way of affidavit on behalf of the State has been handed over in the Court today and the same is taken on record. Complainant's counsel seeks time to file reply. List on 04.09.2025.
In the meantime, the petitioner's arrest shall remain stayed. The petitioner is directed to join investigation on 11.08.2025, 12.08.2025 and 13.08.2025 at 10:00 AM in the concerned Police Station and thereafter as and when called upon to do so by the Investigator."

Learned counsel submits that in pursuance of the afore-mentioned order, he has not only joined investigation but also fully cooperated with the investigating agency. Challan has since been presented on 29.01.2026, thus, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required in the present case. 4.
Learned State counsel on instructions from the investigating officer affirms the aforesaid facts.

In view of the above and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner is allowed and the order dated 01.08.2025 granting interim bail to him, is hereby made absolute, subject to compliance of conditions as specified under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023.
