This is a petition under Sections 10 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiation of proceedings against the respondent for noncompliance of the order dated 18.03.2025 passed in CWP-11971-2008. 2.

Compliance report by way of short affidavit of Jitender Pal Singh, Chief Engineer, Headquarter, Department of Water Resources, Punjab alongwith speaking order dated 25.09.2025 (Annexure R-1) filed by learned State counsel is taken on record. Registry to scan the same and tag at the appropriate place.

In view of the compliance report, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt petition and the same is disposed off. Rule stands discharged. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off. 4.

Needless to say that in case the petitioner is still aggrieved by the speaking order, he would always be at liberty to avail his remedies as available in law.
