NIDHI GUPTA J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No.6 dated 16.1.2021, under Sections 406 and 498-A IPC, registered at Police Station Mulepur, District Fatehgarh Sahib (Annexure P-1) and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

Status report by way of affidavit of Raj Kumar, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Fatehgarh Sahib, District Fatehgarh Sahib, dated 01.09.2023, on behalf of respondent No.1-State has been filed in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Copy of the same is handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner.
