PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) The present matter relates to recoveries being effected on withdrawal of Executive Clerical Cadre Ranks which as per the respondentState were granted in the teeth of Rules. 2.

Counsel appearing for the parties are ad idem that the Officers' Committee under the orders of this Court in CWP No.566 of 2010 titled as Ranjit Singh and others vs. State of Punjab and others decided on 4th of March, 2010 is still functional and is looking into the issue of irregular/ illegal grant of ranks.

I have heard Counsel for the parties and have gone through records of the case.

In view of the aforesaid fact, the copy of present writ petition is ordered to be placed before the Officers' Committee for consideration of the DEEPAK KUMAR 2023.02.20 09:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-24639-2019 -2grievance raised by the petitioners. The Committee shall grant opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners and shall adjudicate the grievance raised by the petitioners by passing a speaking order within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the Officers' Committee be communicated to the petitioners herein who would be at liberty to challenge the same in case they feel that their grievance still survives. 6.

Needless to say any recovery being effected from the petitioners owing to withdrawal of the rank, shall be kept in abeyance till the claim of the petitioners is adjudicated by the Committee and four weeks thereafter.
