Mr. Gurpal Singh Sandhu, Advocate for respondents No. 5 to 8. **** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. The petitioner seeks directions for handing over the investigation of the case to some independent investigating agency or to order a Court-monitored investigation, alleging that no action is being taken by the official respondents on her complaint/representation(s) for the reason that respondent No.5 against whom the complaint is made, is serving as a senior constable in the Punjab Police.
Mr. Gurpal Singh Sandhu, Advocate has filed his power of attorney on behalf of respondents No. 5 to 8, through e-mail, which is taken on record.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that Amandeep Kaurrespondent No.5-daughter-in-law of the petitioner, is posted as senior constable at P.S. City Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab. He further states that marriage of respondent No.5 was solemnized with Kamalpreet Singh (late son of the petitioner) on 28.01.2015 and out of the said wedlock, GURPREET SINGH 2021.03.08 10:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chadigarh one minor child, namely, Kaimveer was born. He further states that despite
CRM-M No. 613 of 2021 -2the fact that Ist floor of the house has been given to respondent No.5, the petitioner and her family members are being harassed by said Amandeep Kaur, in connivance with respondents No.4, 6, 7 and 8, arraigned by name as respondents in the present petition.
Status report by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib dated 23.2.2021 and the status report by way of affidavit of Station House Officer, Police Station City Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib dated 2.3.2021, filed in the Registry, are taken on record.
As per the status report, FIR No. 0335 dated 20.12.2020 under Sections 323 and 324 IPC has been registered against respondent No. 5Amandeep Kaur and another FIR No. 0015 dated 30.1.2021 under Section 406 IPC has been registered against the petitioner as well as Gurtej Singh. Keeping in view the above, no further action is called for. The petition stands disposed of.
