(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking direction to the respondent authorities to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos.6 and his other associates. 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be content and satisfied in case their representation dated 19.06.2025 (Annexure P-7) be decided in a time bound manner. 3.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent Nos. 1 to 5.

In view of the above limited prayer made and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur is directed to decide the representation dated 19.06.2025 (Annexure P7) within a period of 04 weeks by passing a speaking order in accordance with law.
