(Oral) The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.04, dated 27.2.2008 at Police Station State Vigilance Bureau, Ludhiana under Sections 406, 409, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B of Indian Penal Code and Section 7 of Essential Commodities Act, 1955 read with Section 13(1), 13(C)(D), 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

Learned State counsel has pointed out that the petitioner already stands arrested.
