Learned counsel for the petitioners argues that the respondents vide letters dated 04.07.2023 (Annexure P-12) & 08.02.2024 (Annexure P13) have allowed 3% increment to all the employees who are working under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan whereas, the same is not being allowed to the petitioners who are working on the post of Physiotherapist, which is totally arbitrary and illegal and discriminatory in nature. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that once every one has been allowed increment @ 3%, the petitioners are also entitled to on the same anology. 2.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Gagneshwar Walia, learned Addl. A.G., Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and Mr. Anupam Singla, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 4.

CWP-20213-2024 (O&M) that in case, representation dated 22.02.2024 (Annexure P-14) has been received in the office of respondent No.3 and the same is still pending consideration with the respondent No.3, the same will be decided by respondent No.3 within a period of eight weeks from the date of the receipt of certified copy of this order by passing an appropriate speaking order and in case, it is found feasible to accept the claim of the petitioners, the same will be extended to them, otherwise due reasons for not accepting the claim of the petitioners will be mentioned in the speaking order so passed, which will be conveyed to the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that keeping in view the statement of the learned counsel for the respondents, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 5.
