In the present petition, the only dispute is that the service rendered by the petitioner on contract basis from the year 1993 upto the year 1996 has not been taken into account as qualifying service for computing the pensionary benefits of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the respondents on instructions from Mr.Sanjay Rawal, Superintendent and Mr. Main Pal, Clerk o/o GM Roadways, Yamunanagar submits that keeping in view the information received from Director State Transport, Haryana dated 23.11.2023, the claim of the petitioner is being considered under Rule 14.4 (IV) of the Haryana Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 2016 and an appropriate relief will be given to the petitioner by taking into the consideration the service which the petitioner has rendered on the contract basis. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents be directed to finalize the said consideration qua grant of benefit to the RIYA 2023.12.02 12:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-21967-2022 (O&M) 2023:PHHC:152422 petitioner in a time bound manner so that the petitioner does not suffer any prejudice.

Learned State counsel submits that the claim of the petitioner will be decided by the competent authority within a period of Six weeks of the receipt of certified copy of this order by passing an appropriate speaking order and in case, after the decision, the petitioner is found entitled for any benefit, the same will be extended to him within a further period of four weeks.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 6.
