JUSTICE GURVINDER SINGH GILL Present:- Mr. Gurcharan Dass, Advocate for the petitioner. ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's husband namely Rahul with a mala fide intention changed his name from Rahul to Raj Mahi and solemnized second marriage. It has further been submitted that the petitioner's husband, whose earlier passport issued in the name of Rahul, had been impounded, subsequently by changing his name has applied for issuance of a fresh passport and that although the petitioner had brought the said facts to the notice of Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur vide her complaint No.2556 dated 14.5.2019 (Annexure P-1), but no action has been taken thereupon.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression on merits of the case or as regards the veracity of allegations, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur to look into the matter and to decide the representation dated 14.5.2019 (Annexure P-1), Pankaj Kakkar 2019.09.

( 2 ) CRM-M-37766-2019 (O&M) moved by petitioner, in accordance with law. In case, the allegations levelled therein are found to be well founded, then necessary steps warranted under law be taken thereupon at the earliest.
