RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the Entry Rapat No.200, dated 22.02.2023, Annexure P-4, entered by the revenue officials whereby an entry has been made in the jamabandi for the year 2018-2019 pertaining to the land of the petitioner in village Changera, Tehsil Rajpura, District Patiala, reflecting it to be mortgaged with respondent No.4, completely contrary to the facts, without notice to the petitioner and without appreciating that the said loan was already cleared in the years 2003 and 2006 in view of receipts, Annexures P-1 and P-2 and Clearance certificate dated 20.12.2006, Annexure P-3, issued by respondentBank to the Tehsildar, Rajpura itself.
It is further prayed to direct the revenue officials to correct the revenue records. It has been contended by counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has already filed representation, dated 29.06.2023, Annexure P-6 before respondent No.1 but, no decision has been taken on the same till date. MEENU 2023.08.

After hearing counsel for the parties and going through the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1, i.e. District Collector, Patiala, to decide the representation, dated 29.06.2023, Annexure P-6, expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
