Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner had some property dispute with respondent No.5, which has since been settled in favour of petitioner. Now, respondent No.5 is posing threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna to look into the grievance of petitioner with regard to threat of life and liberty of petitioner, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as giving direction to the police to intervene in any property dispute of petitioner with respondent No.5.
