Present second petition has been filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 439 Cr.P.C.), for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, during the pendency of trial, who has been booked in a criminal case arising out of First Information Report, as detailed here-under:- Name of Petitioner(s) FIR No.

In the present case, there is recovery of 262 grams of heroin from the petitioner - Ishant Kumar @ Ishu, when he, along with his coaccused, was present in an i20 car bearing registration No. PB-03-AS-8463. Petitioner is in custody for a period of about 08 months in the present case. 3.

Court is informed that earlier also, petitioner is reported to be involved in several cases under the NDPS Act, and in one of the cases, there is a conviction also.
