The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance directions to respondents No. 2 and 4 to protect the life the personal liberty of the petitioner, who is being harassed and attacked by respondents No. 6 to 8 by hiring gangsters.

Notice served upon the official respondents No. 1 to 5 through the State's counsel.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied in case directions be issued to respondent No. 4 to decide the complaint dated 16.06.2022 (Annexure P-4) within the time bound manner.

The prayer being innocuous is not opposed by the learned State counsel. Given above, respondent No. 4-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana (Rural) shall within 10 days from today take a decision on whether the representation shall be decided by him or he shall delegate it any other officer of IPS Cadre. Once such decision is made, the concerned officer shall decide the representation within 30 working days from the receipt of same by passing a speaking and reasoned order. In case, the grievance of the petitioner still exists, he shall be at liberty to avail legal remedy in accordance with law including approaching this Court. The decision so made be communicated to the representationist at the earliest by investigator.

Petition is allowed to the extent above. All pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
