G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) Mr. Namit Kumar has placed on record photocopy of letter dated 24.05.2019 written by the Executive Engineer. It is submitted that arrears of gratuity amounting to Rs.36,530/- which had not been paid have now been paid alongwith arrears of pension of Rs. 8,68,284/- vide bill no. 93 dated 27.07.2018 by the Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh. Counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to dispute this factum.

Keeping in view the above, the prayer in the petition for release of the gratuity for the period from 01.10.1984 to 19.05.1996 has been satisfied.

Resultantly, no further orders are called for and the writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
