The prayer in the present petition is for considering the claim of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Homeopathy Medical Officer. 2.

Learned State counsel apprised the Court that the petitioner had scored 162.67 marks, which is far less than 174.80, as obtained by the last selected candidate and therefore, does not fall within the zone of the consideration as per her merit.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to dispute the said fact and submits that as such nothing survives in the present petition, thus the same may be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. 4.

Ordered accordingly.
