By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioners have sought issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the pay anomaly of selection grade of Rs.7500-12000 w.e.f. 01.01.1996 instead of 01.08.2000 for the post of lecturers as per government of Haryana letter dated 12.12.2000 (Annexure P-1) vide which the Head Masters of Government High School and the 20% cadre posts of Lecturers in Government Senior Secondary Schools were granted the benefit of selection grade as per judgment dated 20.02.2017 passed by this Court in CWP-9347-2016, titled as "Jagat Singh Yadav and others v. State of Haryana and others" and after granting them the benefit of selection grade their pay be re-fixed as per judgment. 2.

CWP No.6824 OF 2018 --2-- petitioners submits that though number of legal notices (Annexures P-8 to P-10) were served upon the respondents but till date neither any response has been received nor any action has been taken by them. He further submits that petitioners feel satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide aforesaid legal notices, within a stipulated period. 3.

Instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2Director, Secondary Education, Haryana, Shiksha Sadan, Sector 5, Panchkula to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioners in legal notices (Annexures P-8 to P-10) and to decide the same as per rules, regulations and instructions as well as in the light of Jagat Singh Yadav's case (supra) (Annexure P-7), within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.

However, if the petitioners still feel aggrieved against the order passed by the concerned authority, they shall be at liberty to have recourse to the other remedies as well as to approach this Court.
