He was asked to appear before the authority on 18.04.2017. Aggrieved, he invoked the writ jurisdiction of this court to protect his life and liberty. Interim order dated May 08, 2017 was passed by co-ordinate Bench (MMS Bedi, J.) whereby it directed that petitioner would appear before Senior Intelligence Officer, however, he would not be taken into custody.

Petitioner remains unrepresented before this court today. Similar was the situation on the last date of hearing. It is not clear whether petitioner appeared before the Senior Intelligence Officer pursuant to order dated May 08, 2017.
