(Oral) The petitioners (Teeno aged about 22 years and Paramjeet Singh aged about 19 years) have approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect their lives and liberty as they apprehend threat to the same at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 6, who do not approve of the live-in relationship of the petitioners. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and without commenting anything as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition or as regards the relationship of the petitioners, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 i.e.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Karnal, to look into the matter and to dispose of the representation dated 13.11.2021 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law. And to take necessary steps, if any required, strictly in acordance with law. MOHAN SINGH 2021.11.
