Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for directing respondents No.1 to 5 to take strict legal action against Drug mafia and to provide protection of life and liberty of the petitioners.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that for redressal of their grievances, petitioner No.2, aged about 75 years old, has already given a complaint/representation to respondent No.3 on 20.04.2024, however, no action has been taken on the same till date. 3.

Notice of motion to respondents no.1 to 3-State only. 4.

On asking of the Court, Mr.Tarun Aggarwal, Sr.DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State. 5.
