The following orders were passed in the matter on 18.07.2025:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an identically situated employee namely Alisha was granted study leave despite the fact that she was not a Gazetted Officer, like the petitioner, whereas the case of the petitioner has not been decided even a representation dated 10.5.2025 had been submitted.

Notice of motion for 19.02.2026."

When the matter is taken up today, learned State counsel submits that instead of keeping the matter pending, it would be appropriate that the respondents be permitted to deal with the petitioner's legal notice, which is presently awaiting consideration at the level of the respondents. It is submitted that the plea of parity sought with other persons would also be taken into consideration while taking such decision.

In such view of the matter, we dispose of this writ petition with direction to respondent No.3 to consider the petitioner's claim for grant of study leave, keeping in view the orders passed by the authorities in respect of other persons, including the order dated 20.09.2021 contained in Annexure P-10. Such decision would be taken in the matter within a period of six weeks from the date of presentation of the copy of this order before the concerned authority. 4.
