Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner received threat to her life and liberty and that of her family from Kashmir Singh @ Sheera son of Gurdial Singh regarding which she has made representation(Annexure P-1) to Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural), but no action has been taken.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar(Rural) to look into the grievance of petitioner regarding threat to her life and liberty and that of her family, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
