**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) The instant writ petition has been filed against the transfer order dated 20.12.2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contended that the said transfer order was de hors the transfer policy since it had been made after the period specified in the policy for general transfers. Notice of motion was issued and appearance has been put in on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 4.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents-State submits that by order dated 09.02.2017, the transfer order of the petitioner was cancelled. A photocopy of the said cancellation order has been supplied to the Court today and the same is taken on record. In view of the fact that the impugned transfer order stands cancelled, no further orders are called for and this writ petition has been dismissed as having become infructuous.
