Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., the petitioners crave for quashing of the FIR No.109 dated 18.05.2016, under Section 306 and 34 of the IPC, registered at P.S. Kotwali Patiala, District Patiala, as also the proceedings arising therefrom. 2.

In compliance of the order made by this Court on 27.09.2022, status report, through affidavit of Sanjeev Singla, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-1, District Patiala, has been filed, which is taken on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioners states at the bar that the instant petition stands rendered infructuous, on account of supervening events, i.e. filing of cancellation report by the investigating agency concerned before the learned Magistrate concerned. 4.

In view of the hereinabove made intimation to this Court, the instant petition stands dismissed, as having been rendered infructuous at this stage.
