Petitioner was selected in the category of Handicapped (Ortho) for the post of ETT Teacher and vide Memo dated 5.9.2018 (P-4) was recommended to the District Education Officer (Elementary Teachers) Amritsar for issue of appointment letter and a station. The grievance was that the petitioner belongs to District Faridkot and as per her preference and merit should have been allotted District Faridkot.

At the time of hearing today CM 15348/2018 has been moved supported by the affidavit of the petitioner seeking withdrawal of the writ petition as the necessary relief has been granted. In view of the above CM 15348/2018 is allowed and CWP 7032/2018 is dismissed as withdrawn.
