(ORAL) Learned senior counsel for the petitioner after arguing at length submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition as he will file a fresh representation against the rejection of its technical bid before the respondentauthorities i.e. Amritsar Improvement Trust which may be directed to consider and decide the same.

Mr. Rupinder Khosla, learned senior counsel appearing for respondents No. 2 and 3 submits that in case such a representation is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be considered and decided by the authorities in accordance with law.

In view of the aforesaid submission made by learned senior counsel for the petitioner as well as the statement made by learned senior counsel for respondents No. 2 and 3, the present writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. It is, however, made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and, therefore, the authorities would be at liberty to examine the matter keeping all facts and facets into consideration and thereafter accept or reject the same in accordance with law.
