Ishwar v. State Of Haryana & ORS
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CWP No.7137 of 2018 (O&M) Date of decision:11.07.2019 Ishwar ... Petitioner Vs.
State of Haryana and others ... Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL Present:- Mr. J.S.Thind, Advocate, for the petitioner.
AMIT RAWAL J. (Oral) Writ petition is wholly mis-placed and devoid of merit, much less hit by doctrine akin to delay and latches as the impugned order rejecting claim of petitioner for employment under Ex-Gratia Scheme is dated 13.10.2003.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that writ petition would not be hit by doctrine akin to delay and latches, for, respondents responded to legal notice dated 05.06.2017 (Annexure P-2), vide letter dated 11.07.2017, (Annexure P-3). I am afraid the aforementioned argument would not be sustainable for the simple reason that intimation qua rejection of claim was given to petitioner way back in October 2003 (Annexure P-4). No ground for interference is made out.
Dismissed.
