In the present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order/decision (Annexure P-7), whereby the petitioner has been declared 'ineligible' for consideration on the post of Male Constable (General Duty) under the EWS category. The petitioner has further challenged the result dated 16.06.2022 (Annexure P-12) declared in pursuant to the advertisement dated 30.12.2020 (Annexure P-1).

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submits that during the pendency of the present writ petition, the petitioner has been appointed in the Police Department in Delhi; as such, the present petition may be disposed of as having rendered infructuous.
