Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that on 23.2.2020, while petitioner No.1-Mohinder Singh was caused as many as 5 injuries, petitioner No.2-Gurnam Kaur was caused 4 injuries by the private respondents and although the matter was brought to the notice of the police but no action has been taken thereupon.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and while refraining from making any expression as regards merits of the case or as regards the veracity of averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra to get the matter examined and to dispose of the representation dated 23.11.2020 (Annexure P-3) in accordance with law expeditiously.
